Yes, lots of people swear at Active Directory and the new user friendliness 
(read: dumbing down) of Windows 2000.

A classic mistake is to bind it to your internet domain and then suffer a name 
change (e.g. takeover). Oops, need to reinstall every single machine from 
scratch in order to operate from the renamed domain.

The virus risk is just window dressing. (-:
