Anybody who's worried about Palladium, the new Intel & AMD chips with
trusted computing capabilities, etc should probably read this. It draws
a critical distinction between TCPA and the Palladium/DRM stuff. Seems
to come down to TCPA considering the system owner trusted ("trustworthy
system"), and palladium being a "trusted system" where the owner is not
trusted, instad the system is trusted to lock the owner out.

I want a TCPA chip - nice, secure GPG and SSH keys, accellerated IPsec, etc.

Reccomended reading. Oh, and there's already a GPL linux driver for TCPA
hardware :-)
