[plug] html -> word using OO

This is on Windows (Denis ducks for cover!) but here is the blow-by-blow...

My source is in a file, blah.htm
Clicking the File, Open menu I can see a list of file types, including "Web
pages"
Navigate to the directory and open blah.htm
I looked at Format, Page.. just out of interest and it is set to A4 (my
default) and Landscape (again, my default). Because this is a wide page, I
selected Landscape but I know the conversion happens okay in Portrait as well.
Do a Save As... and here today is where things go a little pair-shaped!

The other day I would be prepared to swear, the option to save directly as
Word 97/2000/XP, which is my default, was offered. Today I have a range of
formats, including OpenOffice.org Text document. I can save it as that
(despite spec'ing Word as the default) and then I have to go through a
second conversion (OO.o to Word) to get a Word-readable document. Maybe
the other day my brain was more addled than usual! Anyway, it IS possible
to do the conversion, albeit in two steps.

But to help Bill, here is my list of output format options when having
opened an HTML document just in case it relates to some compile-time
options (missing translators??) ...

Web Page
OO.o 1.0 Web Pages - template
OO.o Text Document (OpenOffice)
Starwriter/Web 5.0 Template
Starwriter/Web 4.0 Template
Starwriter 5.0 (OpenOffice.org Writer/Web)
Starwriter 4.0 (OpenOffice.org Writer/Web)
Starwriter 3.0 (OpenOffice.org Writer/Web)
Text (OpenOffice.org Writer/Web)
Text Encoded (OpenOffice.org Writer/Web)

Apart from the egg on my face re the all-in-one-step conversion, I hope
this list of formats helps in some way!
Cheers,
Denis
