Just a thought on this...
how many serial ports do  you have? You mentioned in a previous post that you
were using a second dial up for the Dial Back and assumed you meant you had a
permanent dialup connection to this system. (I haven't seen many motherboards
with more than 2 serial ports as standard which would mean you would need a
com port adaptor) what about using ICQ protocol or similar to receive the sms
messages (and then have a script to verify that the sms came from the right
number and had the right commands, and if so dial)
