Quite frankly the archive is naffed, It was setup ages ago and pretty
much ignored.  I will me moving it to a new URL soon though and hopefull
at that point in time I'll be able to fix the issues most people have
with it.

DESPAMMING the email addresses isn't feasable ATM with the way the
archiving software works.

Yes please, that'd be great.  I've been meaning to ask for that for a
while.

If you like I can do it for you. Given the tightness of disk on
spark I think it we should avoid using pipermail there.  I'm still happy
to maintain an external archive.
