Doh!  Speaks volumes for the benefits of sleep, or being slapped in the 
face by the bleeding obvious.   Thanks, James.   I do this too (putty on a 
floppy from any of a miriad of Windows hosts) but use it so frequently to 
one machine that I don't / didn't think about it.
