Yep. I was thinking that since '.' is (i'm pretty sure) illegal in RPM 
pkgnames, you could just use cut... but of course the version number has 
a varying number of '.' chars. Whoops - sorry. Please disregard my most 
recent message.

That said, try using a real FTP mirroring tool if you can, it'll make 
life easier.
