[plug] Gtk 1.x fonts look shocking

It could be scaling your bitmap fonts instead of finding suitable 
scalable fonts - it's that kind of ugly. Perhaps some fonts were added 
that are found before the old ones? Try checking the order of your font 
directories in your X font path.
