[plug] newbie on the block

Greetings all

I'm new to the PLUG list, but have been a silent stalker on CLUG & MLUG for
some time (I move around a bit).  I'm home (WA), at present, for a few weeks
on holiday. I run Mandrake 9.1 and RH7.2 at my other 'home' in Melbourne but
whilst here I am linux-less.

I'd like to confirm the PLUG workshop (advertised in the PLUG calendar)is on
tonight.  I have a few friends who would like to install and try linux and
i'd like to drag em along so they can get kitted up.
