[plug] FIPS - repartitioning for RH9/XPhome dual boot

Hi there,

I need some advice/help with preperation to re-partition a friends HDD ready
to install RH9.  He currently has a Laptop with XPhome occupying his entire
20GB HDD.  FIPS indicates that the last sector of the drive is occupied and
therefore can't continue (after scandisk/chkdisk/defraging).  There is some
mention of mirror files etc in the FIPS docco but i tried to locate these
without luck.  Never had any exposure to XP installations before so i'm
lost.

Can anyone offer some words of wisdom on how I can continue with
repartitioning.  He, of course,  wants to keep his XP partition intact.  We
dont have access to Partition Magic so need to complete the task with FIPS
if possible.
