I did a google for linux + dvd + decss + howto.. Then followed to what could 
be useful.

On debian, from memory, a " apt-cache search dvd " reveals lots, and when 
piped through grep the decss stuff is there, "apt-cache search dvd | grep 
decss". Can't remember if I had to put in the decss stuff or debian fixed it 
when installing mplayer...
