Not AFAIK. You could upgrade the ext2 disk tools on your woody box to 
some that support the newer FS format, or backup and rebuild the FS with 
the older tools. I suspect that #1 may be the better plan. It should be 
possible to get the debian sources for the ext2 tools out of sarge and 
build them on woody to a normal .deb - maybe you could give that a try?
