Agreed.  I'm OOo's biggest fan, but I calls 'em like I sees 'em.  The 
alternative office products don't work with MS products quite well enough 
yet.  Sad, but true.  I think it's a bit dangerous to advocate open 
source products as viable when they're not quite ready.  We wouldn't want 
to let the world down, after all.

Sure.  I think that Microsoft's actions WRT office formats are right up 
there with extortion; but that doesn't mean that OOo works with them yet.
