Here's what I want to do...

* AC97 (VIA onboard) to play all main system sound (ie. primary system sound
card)
* VIBRA 16 (card) to play MP3's to a stereo (random playlist looped)

My problems...

* I haven't used linux in a long time.. and I have lost what little
knowledge I had.. I barely remember the basics (I haven't played with linux
since debian 2.2r1)
* After extensive searching for two and a half weeks, I cannot seem to find
ANY documentation on how to achieve my goal


Is there a search engine for linux specific questions, like askjeaves (or
however you spell it), where I can type in "how do I configure 2 sound cards
to work in debian 2.2r3?"... or any of the various wordings?
This would be a BIG help :oP
