Just spent yesterday putting on Mandrake 9.1 to two computers.
Seems to do allthe right stuff, albeit with new menus.
There is a package under kde in the package manager to load the classic icons.
This may be what you need.
As for kaboodle, it installed by default and is under
Multimedia-> Sound-> Kaboodle

Maybe this wasn't exactly what you wanted, but could be worth a look.

As an aside, thanks LinuxIT for selling the discs, am now getting lots of
nasty mutterring from the missus along the lines, no we can't disturb he is
busy playing, I mean reconfiguring the computer. Not checking out games at
all.
If you never hear from me again, I probably died at the keyboard.

Love
Mike.
