Chris,

Updating the kernel is the easiest option. 

I don't know much about the 150, so I don't know if the comms have changed 
much, but to get the 130 working with 2.4.18 all I had to add to the visor.h 
file was

"#define PALM_M130_ID 0x0050"

and then it worked fine.
