[plug] Fastest way to transfer files over Internet.

Whats the general consensus for Linux users on the fastest way to
transfer files from one computer to another over the Internet.
Must be able to do it cold ie no NFS mounts.
There must be some security but it's not really essential.
Preferably a 1 liner.

What i currently use is: 
scp -c blowfish 
If i am transferring text files
scp -c blowfish -C
