G'day.

After about 10 years, I'm moving to a new server for "everything".
The last bit of tidying I need to do is with mailing lists.

There old server had Solaris with C-News, Rich Salz's mail2news and
sendmail as MTA.

The new server is running Linux with postfix MTA with Leafnode2 for
news. Leafnode2 handles "local" newsgroups and moderation well.

I've been baffled on and off for a couple of weeks, by the
differences in getting mail from a mailing list into a local
newsgroup automagically. There's now quite some variety of mail2news
widgets... a google with the obvious keywords isn't providing a
definitive howto for the combination.

Any suggestions?
