No; I tried only to inform.

Methinks spam is something that a person sends that is unsolicited, from 
which the sender can derive a direct personal benefit, rather than my 
posting the items that I have posted, for the sake of information.

Perhaps, this now starts one of those discourses ("and spam is defined 
as..."); perhaps not...
