The rendering engine itself isn't too bad, consider all that it does;
but the Mozilla UI that surrounds it could be a lot better.  Witness
projects such as Firebird and Galeon.

I shall also admit that it /has/ improved in the efficiency department -
I believe that the initial efforts were concentrated on getting
something that worked correctly rather than worked most efficiently.
