Hehe, I'd like it *not* to be like this, if it's feasible for it not to
be.

And size, too, if possible (though I don't know how this could be
handled at the level of filesytems -- perhaps the most granular level of
protection would be a "revision history disk quota"). I imagine that
continuous profiling might play a part in this.
