ISO's are nice ordered filesystems on an image that mimics the original
filesystem,
It's basically files from one CD session... (not multiple)

BIN's are RAW (sometimes including "extra" data not normally visible)
dumps of the whole CD
CUE's are indexes to BIN files.

EG Imagine a VideoCD is similar to:-
Sector 0 -> 1200 = ISO9660 filesystem with VCD info and a file that points
to...
Sectors 1200 -> 399999090 = RAW
The second session is raw MPEG2 saved as a session by itself, no
formatting.

BIN/CUE combos are for multisession, copyprotected, or specially mastered
CDs.
