66 nights would mean walking just over 40 km a day, which is not
impossible, but certainly wouldn't be fun to keep up across the
Nullarbor in the middle of summer. Obtaining food and drink would be a
bit tricky if you can only cover 40 km in a day, too.
Not recommended :)
Some of you Perl folk might want to look into travelling by camel
though...
