Does anyone know of a local supplier of this handy cable:
http://www.serialio.com/products/adaptors/ZThinCableUSB.htm
Yes, I've tried EverythingLinux.
This cable apparently allows a Zaurus to be connected via USB, AND charged via
USB, while not restricting use of the keyboard.
To order direct will cost US$30+US$15pp - which is a bloody expensive cable
(even if it is more useful than the Zaurus docking station). I contacted
them, and ordering two would cost no extra shipping (which brings it down to
$60-$65 per cable) - I'm still waiting to see how many cables can be ordered
before shipping increases.
If there's no local supply, would anyone else be interested in getting one or
more of these cables?
For those who don't know, the Zaurus is a series of very nifty little
Linux-based PDAs. And EverythingLinux currently have the SL-5500 model for
$456.25. A bargain!! ^_^

The SL-5500 is the older model - but is much better supported if you want to
try things like OpenZaurus, etc... It is still quite feature-filled, with
support for SD/MMC and CF for expansion and peripherals.
