[plug] RAID 5

G'day all,

Finally got my new toy together (relevant part of dmesg attached)

I want to set up the 5 200GB drives in a software raid-5 which should
give me roughly 800GB of space I guess.

If I set up the drives and configure the raidtab, plus have it set up to
autodetect the array, is there any possibility in the future of being
able to move the interfaces around without having to re-stripe the array?

I currently have 2 drives on most interfaces, but a bit later I'm going
to get a 4 port IDE interface and would like to give each drive it's own
channel. If I stripe the array now, can I move the drives to different
interfaces later and not have to re-stripe the array?

The rest of the box is a pretty standard Athlon 2800+ with 512MB of
PC3200 ram. It's a pretty quick machine :p)
