I need to do a Linux presentation at the ECAWA conference in Mandurah, 
which will require a laptop. I don't have one.

If you have one to hand, particularly one which is on its way to being 
wiped and reloaded for deployment, but in general anything running 
Linux and which is capable of running a recent OpenOffice RC well
