[plug] Anybody..? I'm desperate

There wouldn't happen to be anyone around the Canning Vale area that could
lend me their ADSL modem for a few hours so I can run a few tests? After
changing txGain settings, having the line voltage tested (came back fine),
and trying numerous other things i'm still having no luck a) gaining
constant line synch b) connecting at 512kbps all the time, as it varies
between 240kbps -> 512kbps (yes, weird I know).

I'm really getting desperate! :-(
