[plug] Internet censorship

G'day all,

Well one of the great pains of my life up here is web censorship.
for example my bttv driver lives at http://bytesex.org/bttv.

Now because it contains that "word" the national isp up here deems it a
site that I can't get to. (There is only one isp, govt run and a
complete monopoly).

Because I have a perth office and a vpn, I can tunnel over that to get
to the sites I need to access, but I have to manually change the proxy
settings in my browser and then change them back again because I don't
want/need to accumulate the extra bandwidth on the perth office.

I'm running a squid proxy up here and I'm wondering if there is a way of
listing the sites I want to tunnel, or better still detecting the access
denied redirect page and dynamically tunneling that web request..

It's a pain really..

Ideas?
Brad
