Note quite: the PAM problems are present in 3.7p1 and 3.7.1p1 but are
not part of 3.7 itself.

Ah...you were replying to Leon (I was confused because you quoted my
e-mail in your reply). Leon hasn't told us whether the Mandrake version
of 3.6p2 contains the PAM bugs. I am saying that it depends of whether
the vendor (Mandrake?) put PAM bugs into 3.6p2 (a vanilla version of
3.6p2 shouldn't contain the PAM bugs).
