I have a "-:0" too, pid 629:
629 ? S 0:00 -:0
It appears to be kdm, though, so I wouldn't be too concerned about it:
# readlink /proc/629/exe
/usr/bin/kdm
Since "login shells" are normally prefixed by -, I'm guessing it's a kdm
login session on display :0.
| P.S. I've tried google, but it doesn't search for "-:0" very well. Is
| there any way to force it to search for the actual quoted characters?
