I got:
# ps axwfl
F UID PID PPID PRI NI VSZ RSS WCHAN STAT TTY TIME COMMAND
.....
0 0 1163 1 8 0 2436 652 select S ? 0:00 /usr/bin/mdkkdm -nodaemon
4 0 1185 1163 10 -10 112868 29164 select S< ? 1:00 \_ /etc/X11/X -deferglyphs 16 -auth /var/run/xauth/A:0-6cPx2C
5 0 1188 1163 8 0 3456 1644 wait4 S ? 0:00 \_ -:0
4 501 1921 1188 9 0 2416 1220 wait4 S ? 0:00 \_ /bin/sh /usr/bin/startkde
0 501 2018 1921 9 0 1340 300 nanosl S ? 0:00 \_ kwrapper ksmserver
.....
So it looks like -:0 is definitely something to do with X :-)
P.S. Sorry about empty post ;-\
