Perhaps even a separate list altogether.  I'd be less inclined to subscribe 
to a list to get free/cheap stuff (I'm always looking for free/ultra-cheap 
hardware btw) if I had to wade through endless posts about Matt's haircare 
products, tales of Bernard's t-shirt collection, or Marcus' latest Doom 3 
anecdotes =).
