Funny this topic should come up on PLUG today, as I've been looking at
this issue this morning.

Some relevant links are:
_http://www.mozilla.org/projects/netlib/integrated-auth.html_
_http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/darin/archives/006185.html_

I've authenticated on my FC2 workstation to our active directory domain
using Kerberos v5, and convinced my Firefox install to use that ticket
for authenticating to the .NET webservers here that accept Negotiate or
NTLM WWW-Authenticate methods. Saves me having to type my password
manually for accessing these services. Now if only mount.cifs or similar
would use that ticket for accessing CIFS shares, I would be one step
closer to that elusive single sign on.

Cheers
Luke
