[plug] Register host in DNS

Under windows there is an option to register a computer in a DNS server
when it brings the network interface up and unregisters when it brings it
down. (You just provide the server address and domain name)

It is for computers with a static IP so that the DNS is always up to date
without placing the computers in the Zone file.

Is there a way to get this to happen under Linux? My DNS server is already
set to work and it works for the windows computers on the network.
