If you are using Mozilla you could try:

UA String Widget by David Illsley:
http://uabar.mozdev.org/

User Agent Switcher by Chris Pederick:
http://chrispederick.myacen.com/work/firebird/useragentswitcher/

Mozilla Firbird User Agent links:
http://texturizer.net/firebird/extensions/

I am currently using FireBird 0.7 on Windows 2000 Professional , with my
user agent set to Mozilla 1.0.0+ Linux which works well with most sites.

It's great when you visit Virgin Radio http://www.virgin.co.uk/ and are
welcomed as a linux user! ; )

HTH,

Vaughan
