Helps to know what you are searching for too. The wording of choice
seems to be:  POSIX 1003.1e

I found this out from:

apt-cache search posix | grep acl
apt-cache show libacl1
<snip>
Description: Access control list shared library
 This package contains the libacl.so dynamic library containing
 the POSIX 1003.1e draft standard 17 functions for manipulating
 access control lists.

I still don't have even half a clue though :)
