Hi Craig,

as far as talks go, I would be interested to hear from others about their experiences setting up GNU/Linux for friends and family as a primary desktop system. Also I am very interested in Knoppix at the moment. Anybody from Open Source Victoria, live or virtually giving a talk about their experience creating the Knoppix and GnuWin CDs that they gave out to schools and the public, would be of great interest to me.

I attended LCA 2004, both days of the Debian mini conference and the Penguin Dinner. What a hoot! :-))

I also undertook my first public speaking since high school and gave a "Work in Progress" presentation about my project

congratulations on the position and all the best for an enjoyable year of talks

Ashley
