If the remote machine is a Windows box, then you can use PuTTY (
mirrored at http://mirror.wa.3fl.net/pub/putty ) as an ssh client.
MacSSH ( http://www.macssh.com ) works well on MacOS 9 machines; MacOS X
has an SSH client built-in.
