[plug] network module

G'day,
Under several distros (libranet atm)  I'm trying to get my dad's onboard 
network up and running, but hte only way it's worked is under Knoppix. I'm 
not actually gonna use Knoppix as the main distro (I love Libranet), but are 
there any techheads out there that can tell me how to find out which module 
under Knoppix it decided to load? Then surely I could use the same choice of 
module under Libranet, right?

It's a Broadcom Corp BCM 4401 100 BaseT
