I can tell you, Madeira wine tastes oh so much better when drunk in a bar/cafe
in a small costal town, probably right next to a 300 year old church, just as
the portuguese fishermen land their boats and start selling whole tuna for
about $1 a kilo, which then gets cooked with potatoes and tastes really really
good..... probably because you've been drinking Madeira wine all day and can
no longer see what it looks like :)
