Folks,

I've been watching that SCO case for some time. PJ from Groklaw
has been doing an amazing job of annotating and demystifying much of the
proceedings and the like behind the whole fiasco.

We need to be clear on this. SCO are directly attacking our job prospects
and our clients (and own in some cases) businesses.

Already the ACCC has expressed some disquiet over the issue , but seem to
of gone silent on it.

Can we do anything to (A) remind the ACCC of its duties to tell SCO to
piss off and leave us alone, and (B) perhaps put SCO out of action in the
oceania region.

Ie, can australian LUG's replicate the success the german LUG's have had
in silencing and banishing SCO over there. I am told the laws in germany
are not dissimilar to our own in regards to competitive behaviors.

What do folk think. I for one am a strong believer in self defence. In
this case, preemptive* if need be.
