Afaik that's a normal pillar, when I was living in Balga (about 400
metres north of Reid Highway and Wanneroo road), there's a pillar about
20 metres from the bus stop (on the east side of Wanneroo Rd) which is
not far from my old place, I don't think that was a RIM, if it was I
think there'd be a lot more "card" type devices in there instead of just
copper, copper and more copper and krone blocks.
Back before WestNet sold ADSL I got a second line put in my old house,
when the Telstra tech came I followed him around like a bad smell and
asked a heap of questions, he didn't say too much but I got to see a bit.
