I currently have vga=0x30c in lilo.conf, which on a good day yields
132x60. I was getting the entire boot sequence at 60 lines with
xandros. But then xandros was resetting it just before starting X so
subsequent use of text consoles was back to 80x25.
Even worse now, debian (woody) is resetting it to 30 lines and
displaying its cute little penguin at the top before booting. Sorry,
but lilo is not the answer.
Regards,
Jim
