[plug] Cdr data recovery with Linux

Hello,

I have with me 4 cdr's that contain about 3 months work from a sign
writing company.

They were a backup created using Ahead Nero about 2 weeks before the
loss of their hard drive. 

I could not access the cds in Windows or mount it under Linux.

I was able to run  Naltech CD Data Rescue v2.3 which seems to have found
all the files but would not let me recover them due to it being a
shareware version. 

I've called my Dad in Sydney to ask him to let me wire the money through
to him so that he could purchase on his credit card for me but he wasn't
in so I just left a message.

In the meantime I was wondering if it would perhaps be possible to do
the same thing for free under Linux?

Has anyone here tried to recover data from CD's or have any ideas about
how to go about it?
