Based on my experience at Computer Angels:

- how to compose a document, e.g. a letter and be able to find it again
- how to work on computer at home and at school/TAFE/UNI
- what you need to get connected, e.g. phone line, modem, computer, ISP
- how to choose an ISP
- difference between free web-based mail and pop mail
- how to send and receive email
- cc and bcc lists and email attachments e.g. photographs
- how to surf the Internet
- how to find information on the Internet
- dispelling myths that the Internet is a scary place, e.g. viruses,
spam, privacy etc

All the best
