thanks, Garry, i knew that already. The thing is, even using this to
search for 'set' (instead of scanning manually) still produces so many
'hits', that i'm almost tempted to think of it as using an errant
search engine that just throws up everything at the mere mention of
the word 'set'.. (but let's not get into any further discussion about
this).

Anyway, i found the stuff already - search for the section 'SHELL
BUILTIN COMMANDS' (keeping hitting the 'n' until u find it...) - and
then scroll down all the way (the commands are in alphabetical order)
until you arrive at the 'set' section.
