Have you tried specifying multiple RPMs on the command line? E.g.:

# rpm -i enchant-1.1.2-1mdk.i586.rpm libenchant1-1.1.2-1mdk.i586.rpm

I don't know if this works (I don't use RPMs), but I think someone said
on this list that it works. (The manual page also seems to imply that it
would work.)
