[plug] Email problem

Hello, everyone.
Further to the messages that I have so far posted about
this, I have logged into the "webmail" at WASP, and, in
going through the mail that has arrived at the ISP for us,
but which has not been downloaded to us from the WASP mail
server, I have noticed in the
headers of some of the emails, the line
"X-Diagnostic: Possible loopback problem";
an example is in the following header, from a message
sent by the mailing list administration software,
SmartList, of one of the mailing lists that I administer.
Please also note the third line of the header, which
indicates that the message was forwarded by me, at 2240
last night (which happened to be after our dialup
connection had been terminated by the ISP, and, when we
were not connected). Note also, that the fourth and fifth
lines of the header, in conjunction with the third line,
apparently show that the message did not go anywhere from
WASP itself - it was not downloaded, but forwarded in a
loop, by WASP itself, one second after the message arrived
at WASP, given that we were not connected at the time that
this occurred.

In the context of the above, could someone please advise
as to whether I am correct in my perception that our ISP
is messing up our email, by whatever changes the ISP
implemented yesterday, when this started, and, if I am
correct, does anyone have any idea as to the cause?
A few minutes ago, I spoke to the suppport person at the
ISP, with whom I spoke earlier today, about this, and,
after a number of hours, the ISP has no idea as to what is
going on, or why.
I have today checked the filters that are and were in
place at the ISP, on our email account, which filters had
mostly not worked until the changes to the email system at
the ISP yesterday, and, none of those filters would have
done any forwarding like this.
Regarding the "X-Diagnostic" line that refers to the
loopback, the rootsweb helpdesk web site has the
following:
"X-Diagnostic: Possible loopback problem
This may be seen where SmartList thinks that mail is going
in a circle rather than being delivered. It rarely
happens but it may be the case, some administrators may
see this more often than others if they have an ISP that
may be more prone to loop mail. "
So, I assume that some change made to the mail system at
WASP yesterday, has implemented the loopback problem.
Thanks in anticipation.
