[plug] GNOME 2.4 for RH8

I suspect I'm well into wishful-thinking "just go compile it yourself
you lazy bastard, it'll only take a week" land, but does anyone know of
a recent GNOME version available for RH8?

I could really use it for our users here, as the GNOME 2.0 in RH8 is a
little rough around the edges. A recent KDE would also probably be OK,
though given our use of Evolution GNOME would be nice.
