[plug] Seg fault with xinetd ?

I tried to upload some stuff to our website the other day, Dreamweaver 
sat there looking at me and then crashed, I thought it might've been DW 
so I opened it up again and it did the same thing.

webserver's message logs say:
ftpd[6959]: exiting on signal 11: Segmentation fault

I've tried service xinetd stop and service xinetd start but that doesn't 
help.

Any suggestions ?
